Why did Jesus cried when he heard that Lazarus was dead?

because Jesus had human emotions. He could relate to how we feel and He had the same human feelings that we have. i believe He truly mourned Lazarus (though He was going to raise him from the dead) and as well He was filled with compion for Mary and Martha and those who loved Lazarus.
